An afternoon in Norway
My wife, a couple of our friends and I spent an unforgetable afternoon in the Pasvik river on mid-August, having Tormod Hoel as our guide. The wheather was good, so we started canoing throught the river along the Russian/Norwegian border, while Tormod was explaining us the old stories about the region and how his family did arrive there at the beginning of last century. The nature around us was really untouched and my friends and I finally decided to have spent the best afternoon of all our holiday in Norway. We had also time for a stop in a river camp where we had a nice dinner and enjoyed a great trout soup. Only then we did experience a short but strong rain storm.....but we were under a solid wood roof.....
